What’s included in the price?
Your bathroom or en-suite, where the AquaLusso Shower is going to be installed will need to be made ready for the installation. Hot and Cold water supplies must be provided to either the corner, or centre rear (depending upon model) of where the shower is to be installed. The pipework should be fitted with 15mm compression fittings and finished to approximately 1 meter from floor level. The floor should be a smooth and even surface. Where floor tiles etc are used, these should extend fully under where the shower will be installed so that the shower will not be in any way restricted from being slid in or out of the final installation location. Do not use vinyl or carpet on the floor or other similar materials that might restrict the movement of the shower. Any pipework or other extrusions within the footprint of the shower may have an impact on the final positioning of the shower against any of the walls. A waste connection to your soil pipe will also be required to connect the shower to. You may also need to have a Waste Trap fitted. You can purchase this separately or it can be pre-arrange for the installers to bring one for you**. If the shower requires an electrical supply, then a spur/power outlet in the locality of installation will also be required for the installer to connect to. Once delivered, ensure the shower has been carefully inspected and it's fully ready for installation BEFORE the installers arrive, any additional visits due to the neglect of checking the shower will incur further charges.
Additional costsAdditional works are charged at £45 per hour which covers 2 installers for the hour. Where any additional work is required, the installers will advise before proceeding and provide timescales and costs as required. Where you require the installers to do additional work as part of the install, this must be notified to the installers before booking so that costs, timescales any any additional parts or tools can be calculated. Terms and ConditionsA booking deposit of £100 is required to be paid in advance, with the remainder to be paid after the installation handover has taken place. * Pressure Equalising Valve must be purchased separately if required.
If you are deciding to install the unit yourself heres a quick guideline of the installation enviroment required
Our Units All the fittings, hoses, wastes, everything you need are included in one great price. There are a few guidelines which need to be meet so you can enjoy your perfect new shower. 1. SPACE Because all steam shower units are free standing and built away from their final resting positions, there must be enough room available in the bathroom to access the unit from all sides; this is due to the fixings behind the unit. There must be enough room for the installer (at least 40cm maneuverability on all sides) and 15cm at least from the celine to plumb the overhead waste. Please check the dimensions of your desired unit before ordering. Floors should be completely finished tile or plywood without any gaps to ensure unit support legs can be placed; the cabins are either acrylic backed or mirrored glass, so you may choose not to fully tile the walls behind. The floor must be smooth and level. Tongue and grooved floorboards, carpet and vinyl’s are not recommended as they will not allow the cabin to be moved freely over the surface which is required for assembly and possible service access at later times. If you the installation is on ground level on a solid floor, please ensure adequate drainage is in place and fully operational prior to our arrival, in some cases showers installed in this situation are installed on a raised platform to help aid the units drainage
2. Water Requirements Our Steam Showers and Whirlpool baths are able to operate from: The fee for the fitting is not only for the build of the unit itself, it includes all the fittings, hoses, wastes AND plumbing work that goes with it. All we ask is that there is a hot and cold feed already present, ideally behind the unit, or somewhere in the bathroom to connect to and that there is a working, 1 1/2" waste pipe present anywhere under the floor of the unit or out the back to ensure the unit can sit against the wall. Please see image below. 3. Electric Supply All our steam units are powered off a single standard 13 amp supply unless the unit is a whirlpool unit which is powered by two standard 13 amp supplies. The supply must come from a Isolated Fused Spur that MUST be switched from outside the bathroom. The unit has a supply lead of 1600mm. PLEASE ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR ELECTRICIAN IF UNSURE Due to strict installation laws it is not possible for our installers/plumbers to wire the shower unit up to the present electrics, the unit does however come with a standard UK plug fitting which can be used to demonstrate the unit fully working and should be removed by your electrician upon its final fix. All electrical work MUST be carried out by a qualified Part P registered electrician and in accordance with current regulations, Failure to adhere to these regulations may cause serious injury, even death, it may also be illegal.
